Meet Rebecca
RP Connections is led by Rebecca Pooley, who has been connecting people with purpose since 2014.
Early in her career, Rebecca discovered her passion for the charity and non-profit sector. She spent many years working with purpose-led clients in an agency setting before moving in-house with a leading national charity. There, she gained first-hand insight into the unique challenges and opportunities organisations face when it comes to hiring.
This experience inspired her to create RP Connections, a flexible recruitment partner dedicated to helping charities and purpose-led organisations find the right people to drive their mission forward. Drawing on both recruitment agency and in-house experience, Rebecca is committed to helping organisations make confident, values-led hiring decisions.
Alongside her work with clients, Rebecca partners with local schools and colleges, supporting young people as they take their first steps into meaningful, impact-focussed careers. She also sits on the judging panel for the Kent Charity Awards, contributing her sector insight to help recognise impactful and values-led organisations.
Meet Dawn
Dawn combines a degree in Fundraising with over 20 years of experience in the charity sector. She began her career as a fundraiser before moving into recruitment, where she has specialised for the past decade.
With this unique blend of expertise, she is passionate about supporting candidates to grow their careers while helping charities find the right people to strengthen their teams. She is also committed to building diverse, inclusive workplaces and helping organisations develop strong, values-driven employer brands.
Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time outdoors or volunteering at quirky immersive events across the city.
Meet Katie
Katie brings a wealth of talent acquisition experience gained across a variety of sectors. Having worked predominantly in fractional roles, she’s an expert at quickly understanding an organisation’s needs, culture, and pace.
She’s particularly passionate about supporting charities, helping them streamline and strengthen their hiring processes without compromising exceptional candidate care.
Before returning to the UK, Katie spent several years working in Talent Acquisition in Australia, which means she not only brings international expertise, but also manages to stay surprisingly upbeat even without the sunshine.
